@slantblant i have a droid and it didnt ship with 2.1 when i bought it around march 2010 it came with 2.0.1

I hate apple too. They really became like spare religion for some freaks. Everyone buy iphones and don´t even notice that it is not noticivly better than android devices and the apps from iphone is coming to android market now. There is really no reason to buy one. Ok if you want to show off and if you are a freakiest freak of all then you should buy one…

@zach2589 maybe but you have to pay $20 for 2 lousy ass gigs what in the world can you do with 2gigs,this is free and unlimited
@LemonMerigueTie yea that kinda sucks, but if your contract ends this year, verizon will let you do a early smart lphone upgrade before Aug 2, im gonna do my upgrade on konday, i need an extra $25, but see if you can do that

@LemonMerigueTie some phones get updates over the air, and some devices cant update, such as the here cant go to 2.1 i believe…..and all the phones are by google, thats why all the android phones get free google maps turn by turn features, other phone manufacturers would have to pay for that stuff…but anyways i believe tje only devices that can get 2.2 are ones that shipped with 2.1
